Marijuana, the most commonly used illegal drug in the United States, has four million regular users. The Constitution and Bill of Rights justifies the freedom of doing whatever an individual wishes as long as it is not harming society. The use of marijuana does not harm society. The law must not tell the American people what they may and may not consume in their private lives. For this reason along with economic, medical, and legal benefits, the US government should mandate the legalization of marijuana.
