Macbeth Summary.
In a battlefield in Scotland, Macbeth met the three witches in the middle of a
fog. His friend Banquo came with him. The witches said,
"All hail Macbeth, Thane of Glamis...All hail Macbeth, Thane of Cawdor....All hail
Macbeth, yet to be king!"
Banquo told them to tell his future as well. The witches said,
"Less than Macbeth, yet greater...not so happy, yet much happier...you will be the

Macduff came and said, "I was not born, I was cut out early from my mother."
Then, he chopped off Macbeth's head. One of King Duncan's sons became the king
of Scotland, and the whole country was safe. Macbeth's head got hung on a
pole.
