In order to turn the two murders against Banquo by using some of the same tactics that Lady Macbeth used on him. “Both of you Know Banquo was your enemy” ( III, I, 113) This time he doesn’t want to commit the murder himself. After the murder the ghost of Banquo comes and makes a one-man appearance for Macbeth.
