MacBeth and Lady MacBeth both met the same dire fate at the end of their tragic saga. Death seemed to be a fitting end for both of them considering the misdeeds they enacted during the course of their self-fulfilling rise to power. In today’s world, however, the deaths of the main villains in this play would have most likely been under different auspices.

have died from insanity, however she would have faced a desperate situation if she was ever apprehended for her crimes. MacBeth probably would not have had the chance to die an honorable and valiant death, because if he was caught and imprisoned, he would most likely have faced a trial and ultimately a death sentence. This form of death would be more humiliating and fitting than the way he died in the play.
