proper way to live. In both stories they have the same result: failure. They were thrust into predicaments where they had in their ability to do whatever they wanted with no constraints. The only thing inhibiting them was the moral constraints placed upon them by their past authorities, but these authorities were now absent. It’s the sinful nature branded on our souls not circumstances that holds us back from becoming our best as men.
