Law is not the Opposite of freedom.
Freedom is defined as “Liberty of the person from slavery, detention, or oppression”. Without laws there could be no such thing as Freedom. Laws stop people from committing acts such as Slavery.
Laws are a requirement if freedom is going to exist. Laws stop people from killing and taking away someone else’s freedom. Laws provide us with a feeling of safety and make us feel more secure about our freedom.

So basically Laws and Freedom work together. There is another reason why we need laws, for the freedom to laugh. So I got a joke. A joke about lawyers.
