application of the theory to practice in an attempt to show that the Theory of Human

In conclusion, I have enjoyed researching the Theory of Human Caring and have
found it to be inspiring. Researching Watson’s theory has helped to expand my definition
of caring and my knowledge of nursing theories in general. As well, I now feel the need
to study other theories complimentary to Watson’s so as to further develop my own
philosophy of nursing.
