Shakespeare’s ‘Romeo and Juliet’ is one of the best known tragedies in the world. If the pair were more open and honest with their parents, chances are they could have finished with a ‘happily ever after’. To me it is just another teenage suicide, the cause: a crush. This does not make sense; a life is not worth lust, a relationship spanning two days. Therefore it is not sympathy, but pity I feel towards Romeo and Juliet.
