Firearms and explosives can cause forest fires, which can deplete or lessen the oxygen and all living creatures require these elements. We are already losing a lot of oxygen from the shrinking rain forests, and also Bush’s command to chop trees so the number of forest fires will decrease. The population has also grown, so there are more people who are using the earth’s oxygen supply.
