It is difficult to predict how uncertainty levels will decrease when communicating interculturally. This is difficult to predict because each culture tries to reduce uncertainty. Final Thoughts Reducing uncertainty helps communications between cultures. Although not without its critics, the focus of this theory is to reduce uncertainty, but more to help foster positive communication.
