People in our country are mainly divided by their beliefs. Initiatives have a way of really showing how divided we can be. Most Americans usually take one side of an issue or another. Of course there will always be the portion of people who are undecided or just don’t care. If it wasn’t for initiatives forcing us to pick our teams then many people would probably still be lying on the couch at home instead of voting like good little Americans. As bad as they sometimes seem, initiatives do serve a purpose. They shouldn’t be ignored because they have the power to effect us all.
