I always figured infertility to be when a couple just couldn't get pregnant at all. Apparently, there's a specific amount of time included. By definition, infertility is the inability of a couple to achieve a pregnancy after twelve months of unprotected intercourse (http://health.yahoo.com/health/encyclopedia/001191/0.html). Couples who have been pregnant before, but are not able to achieve another pregnancy have what is called "secondary infertility."

…showed last 75 words of 504 total…physical illness, it can be very hard on a person, and a relationship. Many suffer depression, and some even divorce over the situation. Personally, I believe if someone isn't able to conceive, they shouldn't look on the dark side of it, because there are plenty of children up for adoption who need good homes, as well.
