become aware of the patriarchal bias in arts, that has been and still
sometimes is present. And we must be careful of not going into
other extreme, thus putting down every work of art a man has
produced depicting a woman. Men have also been influenced by the
accepted cultural notions about woman, that have been lived by for a
long time.
