That hasn’t happened yet, and the progress is depressingly slow. Four years after our results were published, no other group has published a single scientific manuscript on this topic. If we had discovered a gene for something less controversial, say diabetes or schizophrenia, scientists would have been fighting to replicate it, or shoot it down.
