…showed last 75 words of 1388 total…their strength and what they were able to do. If a person went to the camp at 6 feet tall and 230 pounds, you probably came out weighting half of that. That shows the drastic change in the physical appearance of a person. If you were able to survive, you were left with physical and mental scars. The horror of the Holocaust that allowed people like Elie to be persecuted, should never be permitted to transpire again.
