The League of Nations had clearly been unable to maintain peace in the world; they had failed miserably at their duty and job, and not surprisingly, after the Second World War the League of Nations was not re-established. Another organisation, called the UN was established after World War Two, and by learning from the mistakes of the League, they have been able to prevent a major world war until today.
