Hamlet Essay
In this soliloquy from Shakespeare’s Hamlet we get a look into the mind of the prince.
Hamlet takes us on his own journey to discover his feelings and thoughts about himself.
He lets us see the quarrel in his mind, which is discussing why he hasn’t taken revenge
yet. Hamlet is disappointed with himself for not taking action against the person that

s soliloquy allows us to see into the mind of the prince and to come up with
some resolutions about what he has decided to do. Throughout Hamlet’s soliloquy we
see through diction, imagery, and syntax the most important and the strongest parts of the
soliloquy that give Hamlet the courage and strength to revenge his father’s death. The
soliloquy enables us to perceive Hamlet’s thoughts, feelings, and his state of mind.
