Among all the greeting cards available at Wal-Mart, there was not a single one involving stepfamily members. At first, one would be blinded by the infinite number of cards related to birthdays, anniversaries, and especially Christmas since it is the Holiday Season. However, cards were directed towards linear family members. Even though most cards were related to typical greetings, there were some sub-categories that were quite unique. …showed last 75 words of 616 total…stepfather as just that on paper. I care for him deeply and am humbled to say that he is a part of my mother’s life. Giving him a card that referred to him, as my stepfather would only make him feel like our relationship has regressed back to the beginning when I was apprehensive of his presence. In conclusion, I guess there is no room, or no use, for cards directed to stepfamily members.
