…showed last 75 words of 2892 total…an attempt to Christianize the Empire. It did work as Christianity soon became the state religion, and the Holy Roman Church was put into place. Still the empire floundered and was eventually divided in two, as her western half had problems from invading Turks and the eastern from barbarians. Rome would never again be united, and the Empire would never again live except in the minds of defunct dictators the likes of Napoleon and Hitler.
