Great Compromise
Representation should not be based on the population of states. Every state should have one representative, one vote. If larger states had more representation, smaller states would be overlooked and, in time, over-powered. …showed last 75 words of 408 total…seems believable that the government “is to operate on persons, not States,” but this is not true. Money is apportioned among states, as states. All states need equal representation in order to keep the country moving smoothly and prosperously. If states are treated unfairly, then what is next? In order to keep our country strong, we must all stay together and treat each state as an equal power in order to keep it democratic.
