Simply said, Gilgamesh was amazing. Parts of the epic can be repetitive, but overall it is awesome. The constant repetition, like, the starved cheeks and face being drawn, is most likely used to emphasize important points in the plot. It is effective, yet after a while becomes to repetitive. I don’t feel that I need to hear the life story of Gilgamesh every time, but I am beginning to skew

goes on a quest to try and find immortality. In the end he doesn’t succeed.
All in all, I thought Gilgamesh was a very good story. Although at times it seemed to be long and drawn out, it was still a fantastic epic story about a man searching for answers in his life. I think this is true of all of us. Aren’t we all kind of searching for answers in life.
