Since genetic engineering is a fairly new technology still in its early stages of development, it could be the wave of the future and genetically modified foods could really provide alternatives to help increase food production, but because the manufacturers of the genetically engineered foods aren’t willing to conduct adequate testing to ensure the safety of GE foods, it should be banned until it is further tested and proven safe.
