We are given tasks to complete in a certain time and a team to complete the task with.

He possessed bearing, courage, decisiveness, dependability, endurance, enthusiasm, initiative, integrity, judgment, justice, knowledge, loyalty, tact, and unselfishness. “Lead me, follow me, or get the hell out of my way,” Patton is most known for saying. I believe those are words to live by. If you aren’t leading me and you're not following me, you’re just wasting my time. So on final note leaders aren’t born, they are made.
