It is amazing to see that even though Tocqueville made all these prepositions over 200 years ago, most of his observations are still applicable to how political associations affect us now. The National Rifle Association, as well as several hundred other free political associations, uses constitutional power and rights to impose their will on America in the same manner today as they did when Tocqueville came to America.
