…showed last 75 words of 881 total…this book I was able to feel Frederick Douglass’ pain with him. At times, it brought tears to my eyes as I pictured these horrific scenes in my mind. To anyone that has doubted the wrongdoing of slavery I have no doubt in my mind that this book will have an effect on your thoughts. If this book doesn’t shape your mind at all than you are no better than the slave owners themselves.
