…showed last 75 words of 3151 total…for a short story, and the rest was simply Victor’s thoughts of self-pity dragging on and on. The book also would have been much more interesting had they given a better description of the process of giving the monster life, even if it had been scientific gibberish. But the plot was excellent, and listening to the tale of the monster was extremely interesting as he described feeling different emotions for the first time.
