This past fall I was presented with the opportunity to go deer hunting in the
Upper Peninsula, something I never done before. Since I was to be living here for
the next eight months, I figured that I may as well take advantage of my situation,
get out into the wilds and persue one of my favorite game animals, the cunning
white-tailed deer.

reaction, it didn’t even know that it was hit. It was then that I truly appreciated all
of the hours that I had spent practicing last summer. As I clambered down and
claimed my trophy I was thankful that I had come to the U.P., elsewise I might
have missed out on some of Michigan’s finest hunting opportunities.
