Visually Fight Club is a stunning movie. And the acting by the principal players is to be commended. But the story fails the performances by the actors. Taken as individual vignettes Fight Club might have succeeded. Together the scenes come across as a mish-mash of nothing. When you’re done watching the movie there is a familiar smell in the air, but it’s not one of soap.
