The Folin-Lowry is also an extremely sensitive assay and can be used over a wide range. The Biuret Assay is less sensitive but it is much quicker than the Folin-Lowry Method. The Ultraviolet Absorption Assay is the least sensitive but is useful for estimating concentration. Samples can be recovered from the Ultraviolet Absorption Assay- unlike the others.
