showed last 75 words of 2638 total…much and she has no friends or anyone who understands her. I didn't really have a strong reaction towards the characters in 'The Withered Arm' as I couldn't relate to them and I thought the storyline was too unrealistic and quite tedious. I was also able to learn a lot more about the social conditions during the period that 'Of Mice and Men' was set, than I have been able to with 'The Withered Arm'.
