My reading of "Childhoods End" by Lance Morrow did not influence my understanding of the issues raised in "Columbine: Whose Fault is it?" by Marilyn Manson. It did not influence my understanding of the issues in Manson's article as Lance Morrow's article did not persuade me to think any certain way about the issues presented. He successfully positioned me to see violence in today's world how he sees it, and his choice of language and writing style contributed to this. On the other hand, Lance Morrow's article "Childhoods End" didn't really get me thinking. I felt there just wasn't any depth to the article. That is also why his article didn't influence my understanding of the issues raised in Marilyn Manson's article.
