Conversely, Connie and Mellors make plans to marry and live together at the end of Lady Chatterley’s Lover. Despite these differences both novels explore how the respective relationships Jade and Connie have with men from a lower class, transform them. Jade and Connie live more secure and satisfied lives as a result of these relationships.
