I agree that dreams can be a double-edged sword. I believe that dreams can always be beneficial, healthy even. Dreams build character, determination, will power, and motivation. Everyone needs to dream a little. Without dreams, you have no inspiration to strive to work harder. You are lifeless, dull, and lazy. Although dreams can be destructive, I believe I’m a dreamer. I think I’m intelligent enough to set reasonable, rational goals for myself. My optimism is the force that makes me set dreams for myself. As long as I am not delusional, or irrational, I believe that my dreams will always benefit me and keep my healthy by setting a vision for the future, and giving me inspiration to continue my journey.
