To keep this from happening, societies around the world need to adopt philosophies that deal more with the curing of societal sicknesses, such as materialism and the lust for power, and adopt more relaxed atmospheres when dealing with justice and national security. Otherwise, our future may end up a parallel universe where humans don’t have any control over themselves.
