After reading Baldesar Castigilione’s The Book of the Courtier and Sir Phillip Sydney’s The Old Arcadia, the feeling of whether women had a Renaissance or not, did not seem relevant. still do not make as much money as a man in the same field, women are still exploited in the movie industries, raped and beaten, and oppressed in many other ways. Every woman’s right movement has helped move our countries in the right direction, but most likely there will not be any drastic changes anytime soon. Did woman have a Renaissance is not the question; will women ever have a Renaissance is more appropriate.
