The Death Penalty
I. Introduction
My belief of the death penalty is that I agree with it. I think if you commit the crimes that fit the punishment, then you should do the punishments for committing the crime. I believe if the Death Penalty was abolished in this country, the murder rate would increase and the criminals would believe this to be a green light and a light of hope to get out of jail

ludicrously claim that the death penalty costs, over time, 3-10 times more than life without parole cases.
In conclusion, the death penalty is an effective and justifiable form of punishment. With society’s belief that revenge, protection, and just deserts are legitimate reasons for capitol punishment and with reviewing particular Supreme Court cases, it is my own personal opinion that the death penalty, or the threat of, is a meritorious and viable solution.
