And so, at this stage of life, my beliefs on this issue are set. I once thought the penalty was wrong and rehabilitation made sense. After seeing and reading about the school shootings in 1998 and 1999, my mind was changed about the death penalty. The death penalty works, serves a greater good, and shouldn’t be limited to the adult capital offender.
