D-Day was the most important battle of World War 2. There were many aspects of D-Day that lead to the allies’ victory over Germany. D-day was the turning point of the war and most say that it ended the war. So many things had to go right all at the same time, which made D-day so hard to plan and do.

have opened the door to Berlin. The allied pulled this off with the mass efforts of all the countries around the world. I could not even begin to think what the world would be like today if it were run by nazi’s. I think everyone that participated in the invasion of Normandy should be a decorated war hero. Cause of there combined vigilance and courage many have saved the lives of millions.
