Like his surroundings, Mr. Hightower shall fade into oblivion with no one to remember him and carry on his legacy. Like the faded sign, he will never achieved the purpose in mind. The people of Jefferson would never know the good things he achieved. They will merely remember all the rumours and sadness attached to this lone man.
