Conversation Analysis
Everyone knows that males and females speak differently and take on different roles when involved in conversation. Our analysis is a perfect example of this idea. In this analysis we focus on how a group of three college-aged females interact with one another, and thus affect different aspects of the conversation. These include the relationship between the speakers and the dialects used by each speaker, the stereotypes of female language and the Cooperative

In conclusion we see that there are several factors to consider when analyzing female conversation. In looking at the relationships between the speakers, the dialects spoken, the stereotypes of female language and the maxims of conversation, much can be said about the ways in which females interact with each other. In our analysis, although rules were sometimes broken, the conversation was not hindered in any way.
