Joseph Heller’s Catch-22 is a fictional novel. It is a classic adventure through the dark, cynicism of war, filled with characters who hate themselves, hate each other, and most of all the war itself. Catch-22 is probably the best book I have read. It is witty, cynical, and shows the true human nature when faced with life or death situations. While towards then end the book does begin to drag on the rest of it is filled with the most interesting characters, problems, and actions.
