In his novel 'Brave New World' Huxley seems to have practically abandoned the traditional concept of a plot. The plot that exists, only serves to demonstrate and illustrate his ideas, starting with the tour in the cloning plant and continuing as the characters tell their life stories and the Savage explores the society, comparing it to the classical one, like the one he is used to.

Through the eyes of Savage and Bernard Marx Huxley shows how we are headed for destruction, how technology is bound to become the new religion, how it will control and ultimately destroy humanity. Humans are no longer rulers of the world but are tools that can be mass-produced and manipulated with.
