questionably able categorical loser; the Dude. Instead of the voluptuous curves and iron will of the femme fatale, we have the irrational artwork and feminism of Maude Lebowski. The dark alley is traded in for a bowling alley and the cigarettes are traded in for white russians and marijuana. Where typical film noir has one thing, the Coen brothers take it, flip it around, make it ridiculously funny and put it into The Big Lebowski.
