"Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder". This cliché is often used when a person is in a relationship with someone who physically is undesirable. What is looked over is the reason why this person has attracted another individual. What they have is the inner beauty that radiates towards the individual they are with. Remember, "Beauty is only skin deep".
