Do Athletes engage in more deviant activities than non-athletes?
Do athletes engage in more deviant acts than non-athletes? In this paper, I will look further into this question. I will examine all levels from high school to the professionals. Sports are assumed by many to promote those character traits that are desirable by most in society. These qualities are fair play, sportsmanship, obedience to authority, and hard work .1 Are all these things true about athletes?

you, that is a myth. Athletes don’t get paid to be role models, but they do get paid to play a sport. No one ever said that they wanted to be role models, it was just assumed. It is obvious that some athletes make good role models and some don’t. When kids decide to pick a professional athlete to be a role model, I think that they should investigate what they are choosing.
