After researching apartheid I found many points relating to the matter. First of all, let me give a proper definition for apartheid. It is a policy of segregation and political and economic discrimination against non-European groups in the Republic of South Africa. It is an Afrikaans word meaning separateness.

how well off the whites were doing and eventually want the same for themselves. This should and did lead to black South African resistance opposing white supremacy and searching for equal rights. This resistance really surfaced in the 1970’s and continued until 1993 when the government and its main opponents agreed to participate in democratic elections, which would result in the final surrender by whites of their monopoly on political power and the end of apartheid.
