plays there weren’t many monologues where all you would like to do is fall asleep. I think that Sophocles did a magnificent job in crafting Antigone, and I would take pleasure in reading another play by Sophocles.
In my opinion, Antigone was trying to be a lonely martyr, and on one level she succeeded. On another level however, she brought upon unwanted and unnecessary deaths that I strongly believe should never have taken place.
