other animals, which represent the common people, were only used in order for new, power-hungry leader to get to the top. The description of the abuse of those in power, in the Animal Farm, is not only an allegory to the Communist Russia ,but it also makes the reader think about how present political structures prosper. Isn’t the mechanism of power similarly based on the horrible treatment of those who are weak and powerless?
