Unfortunately, as with the pigs, power corrupted and the people were affected directly. From this book, I learned that power, in the hands of a few, is corrupting and does nothing to benefit the those who are passive enough to let it oppress them. I would highly recommend this novel to anyone because a valuable lesson may be learned.
