Paulo Freire’s ideas are progressive and should be used whenever it is possible. That is what many educators do today. Teachers do not teach just the banking concept to dehumanize their students. They teach it because of circumstance. We have had several great leaders in our nation and all of them had to be taught in the banking concept of education at one time or another.
